Meta Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how people can request deletion of Meta-connected data that Optimize IQ processes for Campaign Launcher and related workspace workflows.

1. Scope

These instructions apply to data Optimize IQ receives from or stores in connection with Meta integrations, including Meta Business Manager references, ad account connections, page selections, pixel selections, and related Campaign Launcher configuration data.

2. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of Meta-connected data associated with your Optimize IQ account or workspace, email support@optimizeiq.io with the subject line Meta Data Deletion Request.

Please include:

  • your full name and contact email;
  • the workspace or organization name;
  • the Meta-connected account or Business Manager involved, if known; and
  • a short description of what you want deleted.

3. Optional Self-Service Step

Workspace owners can also disconnect Meta from Optimize IQ inside the Campaign Launcher settings area. Disconnecting the integration stops future sync and launch activity, but it does not by itself count as a full deletion request. If you want stored Meta-connected data removed from Optimize IQ systems, email support using the instructions above.

4. Verification and Processing

Before completing a deletion request, we may need to verify that the requester is authorized to act for the relevant Optimize IQ workspace or account. Once verified, we will review the request, delete applicable Meta-connected data from our systems, and confirm completion by email.

5. What May Be Retained

We may retain limited records where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, or dispute resolution. Where retention is required, we will limit use of that data to the purpose for which it must be retained.
